Deva Curl Set It Free – I still love this product and have it on my short list of curling sprays to purchase again. I do have a few to use up before I get to that point though. As before I love how it makes my hair look and that it is hard to mess up, though I do wish it smelled a little better. My full review can be found here.
Mineral Fusion Lengthening Mascara – I would not purchase again, and along with that sentiment I will not. Not only does it have a steep price tag, and minimal effect. The fact that I am pretty sure that I am allergic to this product is going to keep me away from it for good. My full review can be found here.

I have not shown you any of the brushes that I use for my makeup routine. As a result I have decided to do mini reviews of the brushes that I use on a daily or almost daily basis. This should give you some insight in to the brands of brushes that I tend to prefer.
Full Tapered Shadow Brush (Bare Essentials) – I am not sure if I just have an extremely large eye lid, or what, but this shadow brush covers just my moveable lid. I like it mostly cause it is softer than the MAC brushes (I find them scratch in all honesty). This also eliminates the streakyness I sometimes get with ‘typical’ size shadow brushes since they are to narrow for my giant eyelids.
Soft Focus Shadow Brush (Bare Essentials) – I went through a large number of blending brushes before settling on this one, including Bobbi Brown and Aveda. All the other brushes I tested were either to0 scratchy, or too loosely packed, or some other issue involved that just did not make them work for me. The hairs on this brush are soft and pliable. They do a really good job blending my shadow, and do not move it so much that it becomes a muddy mess.

I seem to be getting closer to getting back on track. You may not notice it since yet again my posts are not up until Wednesday this week. However, I was completely done with taking pictures by Sunday night which is earlier than I finished taking the pictures last week. Hopefully if I get the pictures take by mid-day Saturday of next week I will have posts up before Wednesday.
I got this from Sephora a little while back. I had wanted to look into a setting powder, and had honestly not heard much about Fresh Cosmetics. At the time all I knew was that they were one of the more ‘natural’ cosmetics out there. Plus they were a relatively new company at Sephora, and who can resist new?
I would rate this product an 8/10

Continuing with the top 5 series I wanted to share my favorite brands for eyeshadow. I think this will give a great starting point for those looking to expand the brands that they use, or simply looking for a reliable brands that has a large array of options. I have considered price point, selection of colors and quality for the brands that I have chosen.
Bobbi Brown – admittedly I am a bit biassed here. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Mostly because she was my first real forray into high-end makeup, and gave me the chance to learn about foundation. While she does mainly focus on neutrals, there are colors and textures that flatter every skin type. The price can be a bit steep though.

I am still adjusting to a new schedule at school, and as a result have fallen behind. I am hopeful that within the next week or two I will find my grove and posting should be back on time.
The Notice has an introductory guide to the various undertones present in Mac’s foundation and concealer products. If you have been considering trying some of their foundations I suggest reading through this article first. It should help you with finding a good match.
Over at Allison Lehman’s Blog by the name show and tell there is a pretty cool 30 day drawing challenge. I am considering doing this for fun.
