You know those free panty and ten dollars off a purchase that Victoria’s secret seems to send out once a week? I typically just get rid of them, not that I do not want the savings. However, a while back I was pretty into couponing (thanks TLC for making that show) and decided that I could use the savings.
I at the time had no need for overly decorated under garments so I decided to just skip the free panty and use the ten-dollar coupon. I found a body wash for 9 dollars, and assumed I would only have to pay tax on it. However, it ended up being completely free! I was pretty proud of that, the one time I used coupons successfully.
I would give this product a 6/10
As I am sure you all know foundations job is basically to cover any minor imperfections and even out skin tone. Finding an object such as this is not something that is all that difficult. The difficulty with foundation is not only finding a texture and formula that work for you, but also a foundation that can last on your skin.
My knowledge of powder, creme and mineral foundations is fairly limited so I will be limiting my discussion to Liquid foundations. If you have an Advice, tips or knowledge to share about Powder, Creme or mineral foundations feel free to share it.
As you may have noticed from my reviews I am not exactly the largest fan of MAC cosmetics. However, when I do wear their products I typically stick to neutrals. For those looking for some great neutrals from mac, makeup geek has a post of the top ten!
The New York Times has a lovely article about companies paying individuals to leave positive reviews on their websites. I am not all that surprised, this is part of the reason why I look to blogs (which are more transparent about when they are paid to review) and makeup forums for product reviews.
This may not be a beauty item, but who doesn’t love chocolate?! I have been really digging sweet and salty items later and am extremely tempted to give these Salted Caramel Brownies from Bakers Royale a try.
I have tried a few of the fat balms, and by a few I mean two. This minty one, and the strawberry one. I may not use this on a regular basis however I do like it for when I want a ‘semi-nude’ lip.
Since the majority of nude lipsticks tend to make me look a bit like a zombie I usually avoid them. However, this paired with a nice clear gloss (as seen in the august 2011 beauty look) creates a nice subtle nude lip.
I would rate this product 8/10
